Caiera’s Childhood

Caeira was recognizing as possessing this talent a.k.a. Old Power and began training at a young age. In her early teens, her village was destroyed by the Spikes, a group of alien parasites. Her family and friends died, but Caeira was saved by Prince Angmo II, the Red Prince. He planted an obedience disk into her so that she would be forced to be his slave. Caiera eventually grew to become a lieutenant in the imperial Guard led by Angmo.

When Angmo graduated from Prince to King, he decided that Caiera would be his Warbound Shadow. This means that the Banner’s future wife would be the Red King’s bodyguard. When the Green Goliath arrived on Sakaar, Caiera and the Red King enslaved him and forced him to fight as a gladiator. As the Incredible Hulk began to become famous, the King’s Shadow attempted to offer the Hulk a chance to retire, but the Green Scar obviously refused. Afterwards, Caiera helped arrange for the imprisoned Silver Savage to be pitted against the Hulk, but the Hulk won the fight, destroying the obedience disc in the process. Caiera then demanded that Hulk and fellow Warbound gladiators kill imprisoned enemies of the Red King, but they refused, and the Surfer ultimately neutralized the gladiators’ obedience disc, making the Hulk a rebel leader.
