Hiro-KalaEvil Son of Bruce Banner
Hiro-Kala is the son of Bruce Banner and Caiera. It’s probably not exact to say Dr. Banner is Hiro-Kala’s father because it is as the Green Goliath that Bruce impregnated Caiera. Unlike Skaar, who abandons his evil ways, Hiro-Kala is a villain!

Birth of Hiro-Kala

During the explosion that killed his mother and damaged Sakaar, Caiera the Oldstrong, Hiro-Kala and his brother Skaar fell into a lake of lava. Skaar survived easily but Hiro-Kala only survived due to the power of the Oldstrong a.k.a. Old Power. Unlike his twin, Hiro-Kala was not born with the Hulk’s physiology but rather resembles a human. Due to his physical weakness, Hiro-Kala was soon enslaved.

Freedom

As a slave, Hiro-Kala’s master was Axeman Bone, the enemy of Skaar. Tired of being a slave, Hiro-Kala ran away even though his slave necklace remained. In the wild, Hiro-Kala discovered that he was indeed strong and cunning. In the desert, he met Hiro-Amin. Hiro-Amin was a shadow priest defeated by Skaar. Hiro-Kala killed him. Banner’s son believed that the murder who give him access to the Old Power. It did not. Yet, when Axeman Bone witness the act, Hiro-Kala was set free and became part of Axeman’s honor guard.

Hiro-Kala’s brother Skaar had some problems with the Silver Surfer and Galactus. He ended up destroying the planet Sakaar by encouraging Galactus’ thirst for power. Hiro-Kala face is damaged by GalactusWhat’s cool is that Galactus follows Hiro-Kala’s trail in search for new planets infused with Old Power. I guess the destroyer of worlds got addicted to it. However, Hiro-Kala poisons Galactus when the “god” attempts to devour the planet Giausar. Hiro-Kala warns Galactus that he might have poisoned more worlds where the Old Power is present. In return, Galactus damages Hiro-Kala face… The consequence of Hiro-Kala’s act is that he has negated the hunger than Skaar endowed Galactus. This might have been the last of the good deeds done by Hiro-Kala.

Skaar’s twin decides to begin searching for his brother. During his search, Hiro-Kala’s ship falls into the Microverse and lands on the planet K’ai. Learning of his father’s exploits there, Hiro-Kala attempts to conquer the planet, but ends up saving the dying world and pulls it out of the Microverse. Hiro-Kali then attempts to take control of K’ai’s Worldmind. Hiro-Kala takes control of the Worldmind’s power, using it to turn the inhabitants of K’ai into mindless slaves. Hiro-Kala then sets his sights on Earth, planning to destroy it. He knows how much the Earth is worth to the Incredible Hulk and Skaar.

Hiro-Kala vs. Skaar

As K’ai enters Earth’s solar system, Hiro-Kala mentally connects with his brother Skaar, alerting him of his coming. With that knowledge, their father gathers his allies to stop Hiro-Kala. After the Hulk’s forces make it through the starships around K’ai, Hiro-Kala is confronted by his father, the two finally meeting face-to-face. Hiro-Kala taunts his father by killing the remainder of the brainwashed children he sent to attack him, and reveals that he will have K’ai collide with Earth, destroying it and it’s old power. Outraged by his son’s callousness, the Hulk attacks Hiro-Kala. During their battle, Skaar seemingly sacrifices himself to save a barge full of brainwashed slaves from a volcanic eruption. Hiro-Kala mocks his brother’s sacrifice, calling him “weak”. The Hulk, angrier then ever, beats Hiro-Kala into submission, but cannot bring himself to kill him, instead reverting back to Bruce Banner and stunning him with an old power taser. This releases Hiro-Kala’s old power throughout the planet. Skaar, in oldstrong form, bursts out of the ground, intending to kill his brother himself. Hiro-Kala and Skaar battle, with Skaar trying to calm his brother down. When K’ai’s Worldmind reveals to Hiro-Kala that the image of Caiera he saw was merely a figment of his imagination, he loses his mind, lashing out with the old power. Skaar uses his own old power to seal Hiro-Kala in a sphere of stone, with only his face visible. At the same time, the rest of “Team Hulk” set off an explosion that knocks K’ai off course, saving Earth. K’ai’s Worldmind then takes Hiro-Kala into the planet’s core, so that his old power can heal what he almost destroyed.
