Rebecca Banner’s Early Life and Pregnancy

During college Rebecca Banner was still had her maiden name. It was only after she met and married Brian that she took on the name Rebecca Banner. She really wanted to start a family with him. She moved to Los Alamos with him when he found a job working for the government. Brian’s job was stressful and he started to drink and abuse Rebecca. He lost his job due to his excessive alcohol consumption. While attempting to bring his life back together, Rebecca announced that she was pregnant. Brian was furious because he did not want to have a child. The pregnancy was plagued by multiple complications. The child was born in Dayton, Ohio and was declared healthy by doctors.

Rebecca Banner was worried about her husband’s violent nature. She often attempted to defend her son Bruce when his father attacked him. In these times, Rebecca would also become victim of abuse. Brian began to hate his wife for loving his monster child. It after years of abusing his wife and child that Brian finally admitted to Rebecca Banner that he had never wanted a child. He feared that his children would inherit from his non-existent monster gene and radiation mutations. Rebecca sure managed to marry a winner.

The Death of Rebecca Banner

When Bruce was still in elementary or middle school, Rebecca Banner decided that enough was enough. She had to flee Brian’s abuse before either her or her son got seriously hurt. Sadly, before Rebecca was able to flee, Brian caught them entering a car. Bruce yelled to his father to let his mother go but Brian wanted to teach Rebecca a lesson. Brian threw her to the ground and Rebecca died. After Brian was convicted for the murder of Rebecca Banner, Bruce was sent to live with his Rebecca’s sister, aunt Susan Drake. Bruce Banner has always struggled with issues surrounding his mother’s death.
